Trimble's moat is durable due to high switching costs for customers embedded in their workflows, extensive proprietary technology (IP and data), and a global distribution/service network that is difficult to replicate. The shift to subscription models further strengthens customer stickiness and revenue predictability.
Moat Erosion Risks
- •Rapid technological advancements from competitors could offer superior, lower-cost alternatives.
