AMKR Risk Analysis & Red Flags
What Could Go Wrong
The substantial FY2026 CapEx of $2.5B-$3.0B, while targeted at high-growth advanced packaging, represents a significant financial outlay. If the projected demand for this new capacity does not materialize or if the execution of these complex buildouts encounters substantial delays or cost overruns, it could severely strain Amkor's balance sheet, suppress profitability, and lead to underutilized assets for an extended period.
